Very excited to be able to share the first of a series of AU/NZ campaign TVCs we created for Century Yuasa Batteries!

 

I was stoked to lead a gun camera team on an absolutely action packed 5 vehicle, 4 location 3 day shoot across SE QLD.

Shot across multiple days (and long nights) in the latter half of 2022 and into 2023, this launch film for Hardkorr Australia's latest spotlight series was an absolute blast to produce. We threw everything at it from probe lenses, high speed car rigs, all-nighters and more.

 

Special thanks to Michael Young for coming on last minute to help shoot some of the final driving scenes, much appreciated mate 🤘

Shot all in one short day with a skeleton crew, last minute script changes aplenty, this short product showcase was an action packed piece to produce.

 

Shot on my FX6 package and DZO Catta zooms, with the Laowa 15mm Zero-D for the wides. We spent the majority of the day on the Dana Dolly and lit everything with Aputure fixtures. We were fighting full sunlight for the most part of the day and used nearly every fixture in my van at the time to achieve the looks we wanted.

 

Given the time, crew and budget constraints, super stoked with the outcome we were able to produce.

Shot in studio at TRED HQ in an afternoon, leveraging some archival footage from prior trips, this super simple piece to camera video is proof that sometimes simplicity is king.

 

We shot with two cameras simultaneously, to offer an alternative overhead angle for a clear view of the product in realtime, as key features are demonstrated.

Shot in two afternoons with extremely minimal crew, this teaser was shot to reveal and announce the procurement of a 1979, Left Hand Drive Ford Bronco imported from the US. The vehicle at the time was to be used for marketing and promotion for Kickass Products.

 

The chase scenes were shot on a Ronin-M flying a stripped down Sony FS7 and the garage scene was shot handheld with a ton of in-air diffusion.
